D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park Experience

Image
Two weeks ago, we went south in a road trip with my dad and little sister. It has been months since I visited the curious place of   Davao City . I describe it in such way since I heard my father say that the place is expensive compared to the other cities in   Mindanao . I was just surprised to hear that knowing that I always imagined   Davao  (base on my   Araling Panlipunan  subject) a small and humble city, but now I think there's more to it apparently.   However, I will not talk about   Davao City  here but of the resort we went for family day/advance birthday bash - It's the birth month of my dad and little sister!   We arrived at  D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park  around two in the afternoon. Since it was our first time (except for my little sister who just went here with my aunt) we were directed to the hotel lobby and was introduced to an available   standard  room by the receptionist....

Favorite Milk Tea Flavors In Our Local Shops

Image
Milk teas/bubble teas/bobbas are one of my all-time favorite drinks. I don't know but I really love the taste of tea with milk and a bit of flavor in it -- it's a perfect combination! I fell in love with milk teas the first time I tried it eight years ago when I went to a famous local milk tea shop, Chingkeetea . I tried their classic wintermelon and I can't even...it was like heaven for my tastebuds!  Since then, I was fond of drinking milk teas and I had it regarded as my comfort food.   So far, Chingkeetea is the best in making bobbas among the shops I have tried. They have a distinct tea flavor -- it's incomparable and I just want to say that I'm proud of the owner's prowess. The shop was originally a feasibility study of a student in our college and it was, I think, the first bobba house locally and I was so amazed how her business boomed. And because her shop was near to our school we always had a drink before going home. Nowadays, milk tea shops are al...

Promoted + My Plans For Summer

Image
So our school year just officially ended last June 3 and it has been a waiting game for us to see our final standing. Been spending most of my first few weeks of summer staycation playing games and updating my blog and finally, a letter of promotion was sent through our email…   AHHHHH!!! I'm officially a senior clerk 😭😆🙈🙌🙌🙌   This pandemic was really a unique ride for me. But I think it's also a learning experience that I needed to put in my heart to make better choices in the future. I was always on the edge this school year but at the same time continuously mindful of my thoughts and ways of coping. I was better than before but not much, so I wanted to let this year be another stepping stone that would help me become good even more in the future.   At last! I can finally say I'm academic-free now! Two months of summer break but I think half of it will be spent in our pre-clerkship orientation and training. Also, I usually spend the last month r...

Behind The Rules in Fighting COVID19

Wearing A Face Mask In Public The very reason why wearing a face mask is much needed is not just to protect ourselves but to filter in the virus (if we are infected) and prevent its transmission. The minimum requirement of the type of face mask to be used   are multi-layered (two or more), breathable and washable fabric that completely covers your nose and mouth. But, it is more recommended to wear surgical mask or N-95 because it is already made to filter minute organisms. It is also important to know that you shouldn't touch your mask   while you wear it as it might be contaminated. In removing your mask, hold it on its ear strings and dispose or put it somewhere safe.     Proper Sanitization At All Times The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends to practice proper hygiene. Always bring with you a 60-90% alcohol or alcohol based gel as this concentration provides elimination of certain bacteria and virus including SARSCOV2. If your hands are soiled,...

COVID19 And What Should We Know

Image
It has been more than a year since the outbreak started and spread like wildfire across countries in less than a week.  A debilitating infection that pushed people to stay at home, decrease most countries' economic performance, a war faced by our health workers and government officials -- that may be imprinted in the minds of today's generation forever; COVID-19 and what should we know about it in a medical perspective?   COVID-19 refer to the disease itself which means Coronavirus Disease 2019. It is caused by SARSCOV2 or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2, the name of the virus. Coronavirus, in general, is a large family of viruses which includes causing illnesses like MERS (Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome). It is a zoonotic virus -- pass between animals and humans. Theories has it that the virus was originated from bats in a live animal market in China and might have been transferred by oral consumption. As to its human-human transmission, it is through res...
