Disconnecting My Accounts

Image
So I already made up my mind. Just to clarify things out, when I created my blog I thought it was fine to link my personal social media accounts in it. I really don't know if I had thought about this back then, I feel like I just did it without deliberation. Just put the link there and your blog is all set .  Little did I know the outcome of my actions. It was all running fine. One or two lovely bloggers followed me and my account was good until I noticed that my blog is growing ( not necessarily becoming popular but building connections   from amazing bloggers) as well as my social media accounts. One moment on my twitter account, I wanted to interact with my fellow bloggers and  share the updates in their blogs . But I was too doubtful to do it. I thought that  if I'll gonna do it my friends will see it as my recent activity.   What will be their reactions? They'll gonna know that I blog? Will they laugh at my blog? Will they be interested? cur...

Putting Borders on my Accounts?

Image
I have been struggling about this for weeks already!  It started when I noticed that my blog is already making steps. I mean not becoming popular, but rather building connections from awesome bloggers and stuffs. I noticed that my blog and private life is clashing together!  As you can see, my blog is linked to my personal social media accounts. So if you click on the icons in the sidebar right now, it directly takes you to my personal ( I mean very personal ) account. My personal account, well, is consist of my day to day rants and updates. But the thing is...f or example, my twitter account is mainly followed by my friends and schoolmates. Most of my tweets are stated in our own, different dialect and it's content is mainly "relatable" only to my friends and schoolmates. Same thing happens when I tweet about blogging stuffs. My friends can't relate much about it.  That's not really good, right?   I feel like I'm alienating ( is this the right term...

Getting Ready for College: Points to Remember

Image
Hello everyone! Back to school season is fast approaching! I don't know if this applies to everyone, but in our place, some schools starts their school year in August!  So for this post, with everything that I had experienced in my college years/university life, I'll share to you few things that I learned in getting ready for your incoming college life. This is also applicable to everyone who is now in their college years. Without further ado, here are few points to remember when you're getting ready for college. 🌼 College is a big deal! As soon as you graduate in high school, there is this common dilemma you face about not knowing what to do in lifeδΈ€ what you want as a profession or job, etc.  Because of this dilemma, usually some high school graduates tend to go with the flow without reflecting what it means to enter college and be a college student. As a consequence, they will feel overwhelmed and surprise as they step into a new chapter.  And I thin...

I Got Accepted! + Looking forward in July

Image
So I was uncertain of what’s next. But then I tried to move the boulder in front of me, break it piece by piece, and continued to walk through my chosen path. It’s not yet the end okay? I told myself. So when I was away for almost 2 weeks in the blogging community, I was actually taking care of some paper works that will, in consequence, pull me out of my comfort zone.  After so much deliberation and drama, I finally decided that I will proceed to medicine. Say what! A decision that will hopefully become my biggest achievement. A decision where there is no turning back. A decision that will definitely push me to my limits. Even before I did came to this verdict, I was quite shaken up thinking of the pros and cons of proceeding and it was so scary. To come in this decision was so difficult after I got delayed the submission of my college final thesis.   There were a lot of challenges that I went to face (and I think you know already about that)...

What I've Been Up To

Image
Hey chums! I just wanted to have a quick update. So, I got addicted to this game that this is the only thing that kept me busy last week, oh other than going to the cinema to watch Transformers: The Last Knight.  I actually had played this last year but I had to stop for a while since school  was approaching. What I like in this game is you get to build your own life  in the farm, be rich, and have your own family. Oh I can't just stop myself playing this 'til midnight 😱. I also have been watching Asia's Next Top Model! OMG, the competition sure gets intense. I'm so proud of the top three because I think they really deserved their  spots. They're so good and versatile, and emotionally strong so I believe whoever  wins the competition, surely is deserving. Lastly, I will be doing some important things this week and the following weeks.  It's a secret πŸ˜‰ . I don't know if when will I get to write again. But, I'll make sure  t...

The Aftermath

Image
At this point, I'm quite uncertain of what's next. Life is so vague that I cannot conclude of what's it and what's not.  When we're still young, we're always driven by our aspirations and c ome in every milestones determined to push our way to the future.  It was a life where it seems everything is perfectly fine and  success were already shining brightly at the end, waiting for you to grab it.  It was then that we were so innocent and focused on one thought —just do it.  Because it was then that we are inside a system that is all pre-determined.  You are born, you learn to walk, you go to school, you learn to read and write,  you finish a degree. . . . . .  and then the system stops there. Most people who had and have reach the end of the system have raised the question  on their selves "What's next?" You see, as soon as you step out the corridors of that system, you see a beautiful  chaos.  Yes it is bea...

Just this One Goal

Image
I know it's way past to talk about New Year's resolution or goal.  But, if there's one goal I should accomplish this year it would  be to become more happy. Just so you know, I'm quite sensitive to bad experiences. Whenever something  hits me up my confidence starts to deteriorate and my thoughts fluster.  They said that happiness is an attitude. It's a personal choice. Sad to say,  I can't really work it out on myself. I want to attain such attitude  but I find it so hard. Why oh why? Anyways, this one goal of mine is something I should seriously work on myself.  One goal that is really hard for me to deal with. Haha!  I'm looking forward for my progress (I'm praying for it) .   Is there a goal you want to accomplish this year that you find it hard to deal with? Let me know in the comments!

Two Bizarre Movies I just Watched

Image
Hello! Recently, I was being brave enough to watched this two bizarre movies on HBO . Wait I forgot if it was HBO or another else . Oh well. I was really curious when it was featured on the channel, so I decided to try watching it.  🌼 Tale of Tales As this was featured as a new movie on HBO, I thought it was about a typical life in the medieval period. But, I was wrong. Tale of Tales is about three families with different stories that was weaved into one plot. It was really a strange movie. I never expected to see sea monsters and necromancer in it. I had watched this at night and it was a really good decision of mine. Really good.  And yet, the movie was really great. The story was well thought and the characters were so good. At the end of the movie, I was really astonished for quite a long time. It was deep and very metaphorical that I came to pondered on the thought of how one's selfish desires would affect other people. It was indeed an unforgettable grim fair...

Welcoming June

Hold up! I have to ask first for a bit of your time to answer my poll on the sidebar. That is just a quick survey so yeah, will highly appreciate it. T hank you! 😊 A friend of mine once said that I am an optimistic person. For her, I always find the bright side of life even if I'm already carrying the weight of the world. The truth is I don't see that kind of attitude on myself.  Hmm... let me tell you something When I'm with everybody, I always keep my positivity up. I don't know why, but, I know it's the right thing to do. And I want that my friends would be reminded of that.  But, here's the thing When I am on my own and problems arise, I cannot even think of the bright side. I sulk on my comfort zone and try to reflect on my mistakes and situation. I'll began to have anxiety attack and overthink matters so deeply.  When will I ever learn to be optimistic FOR REAL? I know that to smile despite of. . .to be hopeful despite of...
