Unique and Beautiful

Image
So I have been updating my Tumblr  recently and noticed that I'm actually posting for no one. Yes, I have little Tumblr followers and I just can't get the thought that I'm reblogging beautiful pictures and inspiring posts from other blogs to what? just for myself? The idea of having little followers is not a problem to me because mainly I love using Tumblr for daily personal inspirations through reading poems and quotations and seeing meaningful pictures. It's just reblogging these posts would be a waste if I can't share them to actual people. Thus, an idea pop out of my mind telling me to bring Tumblr to Blogger and share it to everyone!  Each of us is beautifully unique in their own ways.   Yes dear. The first picture on the top right reminded me of Keith Wynn's post: The Abnormality of Normality, please do check this out, it's a very nice post. He was talking about being odd and agreed that everyone has that oddity inside. As what he said...

The Worst advice I've ever heard about Life

Image
"You only live once. YOLO!" I'm not pointing out to the quote here. I mean, I understand that this quotation means to live life to the fullest. But, the thing that I do not like in this sort of advice is how people misunderstand it. I always hear people, like in school, tell this to others as if they're advertising to live life like you gonna die tomorrow, so let's party all night and drink until we can't remember anything. Uh-uh . You see, "You only live once." tells us to make something out of your comfort zone. Do something beautiful in your life because you are just given one lifetime to do the best, to feel the wheel of life; its ups and downs, to get out and explore the world, the mischief and wonderful creation that the world may offer us. Go out there! Meet new people, serve other people, feel inspired, and feel happy of yourself. When you hear this advice, do not think of it as an opportunity to waste yourself, because when you go...

10 things I never knew until I got to Biology!

Image
Hello there! How is May so far? I'm working on a by group baby thesis at the moment. Just one last requirement to fulfill then I can have my desired vacation. Not really a desire one but I'm pretty sure that I'll be working on my own thesis topic, review for medical exam if possible and do work out ( yeah~). But anyways, I just want to share something cool now.   If you didn't know I'm a 3rd year Biology student by the way. For being under the program of Biology, I learned a lot especially on fun facts.  Biology filled up the holes in my brain.  I never thought that some living organisms that surrounds us have a weird and surprising way of life. So here I am wanting to share the things I learned from my Biology teachers. Without further ado, let's run through it! Jellyfishes are immortal. They only die due to circumstances like killing them or habitat change. According to my teacher, scientists are already cracking the code of their immortality...

Descendants of the Sun

Image
Are you fond of Korean dramas? Because I am dying to tell you something... I am so so so so head over heels with Descendants of the Sun! I'm not sure if you ever heard of this Korean drama but this is the bomb in Asia this season. At least it is popular mostly in South Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Philippines as I can see on the internet. Now I understand that not all people are fond of such but please do try to watch it.  I'm going to let go of my excitement first because I have butterflies all around my body right now. When I saw this posted in Facebook I wasn't really attracted to it since I thought that it was a Korean culture film. The title describes it though. But when my classmates were already talking about it in class and I can see a lot of post about it in social media I thought I could give it a try.  So here I am now, having mix feelings after I watched it. The drama mainly focuses on the love story of a soldier and a ...

Insect invasion & Farewell party!

Hello people in the whole wide world! Yes I'm still alive! I had been out for three weeks and I honestly felt like it was a month. I never expected that I could not get myself out of blogging during summer classes since summer classes aren't really tedious. But, it was. I have a very convenient schedule, but I never thought that most of my free time would cover up my preparations for exams which are always due every week. So I need to occupy my free time reading and doing a lot like let me emphasize it "a lot" of homeworks especially in my Computer class. I mean, we always have homework everyday and I just can't start studying for my major that covers three or five slightly long chapters.  Nevertheless, I still kept thinking about blogging those days. I knew I can't write something legit if my mind is still on my academics. So what I did is I took memorable pictures when I was out thus I can share it you when I'm back. So here are the moments I ha...
